Linking Library Resources - External URL
- Use the drop-down box to select External URL
- Paste the permalink URL from a Kinkaid database, ebook, or article
- Add a page name
- Check the box to choose to load in a new tab
- Click Add Item to save
Embedding Library Resources - Embed Code
- Copy the embed code of the video or media
- Add a new Page, Module, or Assignment in Canvas
- Click the HTML Editor at the top right of the screen
- Paste the embed code in the HTML Editor
- Click Save
Embedding Library Resources - LTI / External Tool
- Click on Modules in the Canvas menu
- Click on the + sign to the right of the selected module.
- From the Add drop-down menu, select External Tool.
- Navigate down to External Tools
- Select library resource
- Conduct search
- Select desired resource
- Click Add Item
Embed a LibGuide - Canvas
- Click on Modules in the Canvas menu
- Click on the + sign to the right of the selected module.
- From the Add drop-down menu, select External Tool.
- Navigate down to US Library - Libguides and select it.
- In the Content-Type drop-down menu, select Full LibGuide.
- For the Guide drop-down menu, select the name of the LibGuide you wish to embed.
- Click Embed Content.
- Click Add Item
